Experiment with the building blocks of great dramatic writing
A great dramatic scene features a powerful opening, intriguing developments, an emotional crescendo and a satisfying payoff. This stimulating event offers writers the chance to learn the secrets of some of the great dramatists of stage, page and screen. Renowned tutor Greg Mosse analyses a selection of his favourite dramatic scenes from novels, movies and plays – and then challenges you to do better.
This large-scale seminar gives attendees the opportunity to dissect examples of great writing to uncover the essential elements which make each one a potent instance of the writer's craft. You'll then use these techniques as guides, putting your new skills into practice as you craft scenes of your own.
