Overview

In modern publishing, 'brand' is everything. For unpublished authors, evidence that you understand how to create and use publicity can be a deciding factor in winning a book deal. This course will show you how to promote your work and yourself using everything from Twitter and Facebook to literary festivals and local and national press.

Led by Tory Lyne-Pirkis of Midas Public Relations, the UK's leading book PR agency, this course is aimed at all authors – published, self-published and unpublished. It will equip you with the ability to grow an audience for your work, build an online presence, and spot effective paid for marketing opportunities. You will also meet a variety of industry specialists in marketing, PR and self-publishing who will share the secrets of successful PR and marketing. You'll go home with new ways to promote and market your work and build your profile as an author.
