Very friendly & welcoming atmosphere. As a newcomer to the world of graphic novels I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was much more relaxed than I thought it might be - professional, tight in terms of time etc - but with lots of humour.
The quality of the speakers/panel was superb!
I really learnt loads, both in terms of background/history as well as practical info on writing, drawing/illustrating and publishing.
The speakers were all visibly pleased to be there, and were very, very approachable and friendly.
All I could have expected and more.
Their passion for what they did shone through, and their efforts to inspire the same enthusiasm in the audience were really super.
