The Alex Monroe brand was established in 1987, when Alex set up his first studio in South London to make great quality, wearable jewellery, which was originally designed and well priced. Twenty five years on, the demand for Alex's jewellery is now worldwide – it has a huge following in Japan, and Australia and Germany are also rapidly growing markets. The pieces are sold in heavyweight fashion institutions such as Liberty, Harrods and Net-A-Porter, and little boutiques everywhere in the UK from St Ives to the Orkney Islands. Stores frequently sell out, with many pieces gaining waiting list status. His memoir Two Turtle Doves: A Memoir of Making Things is released on 13 March 2014.
Madeleine Moxham is the founder of MOXHAM, a London based jewellery and accessories brand that creates graphic pieces for interesting individuals. The brand launched in 2011 and has been going from strength to strength, having featured in Grazia, Elle, Vogue.com, Time Out and online at Refinery29 among others.
