Whether you're starting out or looking to expand your existing enterprise, Julie Falconer, creator of the award-winning site A Lady In London, will teach you how to create and develop your own travel blog, including how to work with brands and PRs to source exciting content, how to write snappy copy for the web, and how to take evocative pics to give your blog a unique visual identity. With plenty of personal feedback, you'll also learn how to build a loyal user base, with tips on using social media to expand your profile, and discover how to monetise your blog's success.

Julie Falconer is a London-based travel writer and consultant. She has been blogging since 2002, and currently writes an award-winning travel blog called A Lady in London. Through it she has developed a strong social media presence and visited over 90 countries. Her writing and photography have been featured in Lonely Planet, National Geographic Intelligent Travel, and other leading travel media. Julie teaches about blogging and social media throughout the UK, and has given talks about travel at Cambridge and other universities.
Adrian Land has been doing SEO for over 13 years – even before it was called SEO. Adrian's involvement in the digital sector has been in all of its forms, varieties and flavours starting back in the dotcom bubble, from small to medium size ventures to big ecommerce sites. In addition, Adrian has moved with the times into inbound marketing, taking technical and classic SEO, content marketing, social, PR and CRO as the searchscape and users expectations have evolved. The majority of Adrian's working life has been spent in the travel industry; most recently at Thomas Cook Group, Hotels.com (Expedia) and HomeAway Group. All of these roles covered multiple countries and languages. He is now at My Destination, a travel guides and information company whose USP is that every destination has people on the ground giving real-time and genuine advice.
